About Me

For a long time, I thought I was doing everything right when it came to my health. I ate well, exercised regularly and genuinely believed I was taking care of myself. But I’ve learned that looking healthy and actually being healthy aren’t always the same thing.

I think many of us can relate. We’re doing all the things we’re supposed to be doing, yet something feels off. Maybe we’re more tired than usual, our digestion isn’t what it used to be, we’re gaining weight or we simply don’t feel like ourselves.

For me, that wake-up call came a few years ago when I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease, an autoimmune condition affecting the thyroid. Just weeks later, I developed thyroid eye disease, which was frightening on many levels, especially for someone who, admittedly, cares about how she looks.

I was overwhelmed and scared. I ultimately had my thyroid removed, but I was left with a lot of questions about my health and how I’d gotten here.

So I started reading, listening, researching and trying to understand everything I could about the body and the many factors that influence our health.

And somewhere in the middle of all of this, menopause arrived. Perfect timing.

Like many women, I turned to hormone replacement therapy (HRT), hoping it would be the answer. Some aspects helped, others didn’t. What I came to understand was that hormones were only one piece of a much bigger and more complex picture.

I became fascinated by the foundations of health: digestion, blood sugar balance, nutrient status, sleep, stress and how these systems worked together. This curiosity led me to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, where I received formal training in the foundational principles of nutrition and how to apply them to each individual’s unique needs.

Today I bring both my education and my personal experience to my work. I understand how frustrating it can be to feel like you’re doing everything right and still not feel your best.

My goal is to help you make sense of the noise, understand your body better and build a strong nutritional foundation for lasting health through menopause and beyond.

My Approach

I don’t believe feeling worse is an inevitable part of getting older. Weight gain, brain fog, mood swings, low energy and digestive issues may be common in midlife but that doesn’t mean we should accept it or that it’s normal.

And while HRT can be an incredibly helpful tool, it isn’t the whole picture or even the whole solution. Your foundational health matters. Your food, sleep, stress, digestive health and blood sugar all play an important role in your ability to feel good and age well.

Together, we’ll dive into your symptoms and concerns with the goal of getting to the root cause. From there, I’ll create a personalized approach that supports your body through this stage of life. As a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), I use a foundations-based, personalized approach to support each client’s unique needs.

Menopause is inevitable.

Suffering shouldn’t be.
